Remove waste water with wasteflo

Wasteflo - The clean & simple way to remove waste water

Maximising the use of space within many properties often requires the installation of appliances, toilets and showers in locations where a gravity flow to the soil pipe is impractical or impossible. These problems can be solved by Stuart Turner's innovative wasteflo range of macerators, lifting stations and shower waste pumps.

Making the best use of the space available when undertaking a propertyWC3 in Situ refurbishment often calls for a creative approach. None more so than when planning to use a space where either a gravity flow of waste water to the main soil pipe is not possible, or in a situation where running waste pipes along internal walls is impractical and unsightly. Common examples include the creation of a toilet, shower room or utility room in a basement, installing an en-suite bathroom some distance from the outside drain, or fitting a toilet in the space under the stairs.

Many of these challenges can be overcome simply and effectively with Stuart Turner's innovative, easy to select and install Wasteflo range of macerators, lifting stations and shower waste pumps.

When creating a simple toilet or complete en-suite facility the Wasteflo range of macerators provide a simple, slim-line and extremely easy to install and maintain solution. Offering a versatile and refreshingly simple approach to product selection, their unique features ensure that from just three models you can remove wastewater from your property efficiently and cleanly. Super-slim Wasteflo macerators fit neatly behind the WC and allow the cistern to be fixed directly to the wall without the use of battens. They automatically reduce waste to a liquid form and pump it away to the soil pipe. Each model can pump vertically up to 5m or horizontally up to 52m depending on the diameter of the waste outlet pipework used.

Wasteflo explodedThe Wasteflo macerator design features an innovative, removable watertight cassette system which houses the electrical and mechanical components. This cassette system allows clean and easy access without having to remove any pipe work or the appliance when servicing or maintaining the unit. Another extremely innovative  feature is the height adjustable toilet pan connection. This eliminates the frequent need to 'raise up' either the macerator or toilet to ensure that the spigot on the toilet aligns accurately with the connector on the macerator. The waste outlet connector also features an easy-fit adaptor suitable for use with either 22mm, 28mm or 32mm diameter waste pipe. This greatly simplifies the replacement of an old macerator unit where the existing pipework cannot easily be replaced.

The Wasteflo WC1 features a single inlet connection for a WC only, whilst the WC2 and WC3 models feature one and two additional waste inlets respectively. These can be used to connect a hand basin in the case of the WC2, or a hand basin and a shower in the case of the WC3. They utilise compression fittings rather than metal jubilee clips which corrode and are very difficult to clean. Flexibility is further enhanced with the inclusion of inlet adaptors which enable connection to 32mm (1¼") or 40mm (1½") diameter pipework.

Their compact design and low noise levels mean that Wasteflo macerators can be located anywhere, even in noise sensitive locations such as bedrooms and loft conversions.

The Wasteflo LS5 Lifting Station effectively lifts waste water where gravity flow is either impossible or impractical, allowing a kitchen, utility room or shower room to be created virtually anywhere. It will even Kitchen Island Unitallow you to install a sink within a kitchen island unit without having to dig up the floor Lifting Stationand install a drain. Featuring a total of five waste water inlet connections, the LS5 facilitates the connection of multiple appliances including a bath, shower, wash basin, sink, washing machine and dishwasher.

The versatile Wasteflo LS5 is capable of pumping waste water up to 7m vertically or 72m horizontally through 32mm diameter waste pipe, features high quality waste inlet compression fittings and the same innovatively designed, easy-access cassette mechanism as the Wasteflo WC macerators.

Level access shower rooms look fantastic and are a very practical solution when used in accommodation for people with limited mobility. However, the problem often arises when gravity flow is insufficient to allow waste water to drain away. Wasteflo's shower waste pump and auto gully systems offer the perfect solution to this by quietly removing waste water from any shower tray, wet room or level access bathroom. SWP

Designed with 'smart' technology' which synchronises the system to remove waste water as quietly as a gravity system and compatible with all flooring options, Wasteflo shower waste pumps can extract up to 12 litres of waste water per minute and pump up to 1m vertically and 4m horizontally. They are ideal for use in conjunction with Wasteflo WC macerators and the LS5 Lifting Station.

Wasteflo shower waste pumps and auto gullies are supplied complete with a variable speed pump, control module and a choice of four different gully styles; 52mm and 90mm diameter shower tray types, a gully suitable for use with level access sheet vinyl flooring or a gully suitable for use in a tiled floor wet room environment.

As with all Stuart Turner pump solutions, Wasteflo waste water removal products offer tried and tested engineering designed and built to the highest standards of quality, innovation and reliability. Wasteflo products are LGA approved and CE compliant and are supplied with a 2 year guarantee as standard.
